ABOUT SIS

Department of Information technology (IT) has in stored its vision for provision of high quality services to allied departments and partner schools, so as working efficiency can be increased. IT department has taken many steps to develop multiuser management system to facilitate internally to the organization and externally to partner schools. One such step is to initiation of Student Information System (SIS) for digitalizing partner’s schools data.

SIS is integrated management system that helps partner school for recording, enumerating , arranging information about student’s enrolment under the umbrella of PEF. Department of IT has successfully complete data base for information gathering which has helped in shifting manual practices to database management information system. PEF is pioneer in implementing integrated MIS for private school for province of Punjab which justify notion of Public Private Partnership (PPP) as synergy.

Features

SIS characterizes set of multidiscipline features which has following elaboration.

Security

This feature ensures information security and makes able to be accessed by concerned functionary staying at school or where one desires to access.

Functions

• Facilitate to partner (school) can view the profile of his/her school, profile contains complete contact and basic information of school. Also partner can correct or add the missing information regarding school.

• Partner can add, verify the Basic Student information, can view the overall enrollment of the school.

• There are number of reports like enrollment detail, Search module from where partner can search student by providing any of student name, class, father name, registration number.

 • Partner can add the monthly update enrollment and can view the previous month’s enrolment detail.

 • There is a feature of complaint box; partner can add complaint that will be responded by PEF within given time span. Also there is a feature of complaint follow-up from where partner can search and view the previous complaints by providing the complaint number.

 • there is a feature of suggestion from where partner can register the suggestion to the system that definitely will appreciate by the department.

• There is a complaint cell module in the SIS for department users from where PEF IT department have to respond to complaints, data correction activities and different kind of reports being generated in this modules.
